Forum 5i round table sessions are a unique time for local, national and European experts to exchange on an innovative field.

 

Venture 5i selected start-ups’ pitches

Venture 5i selected startups will each have 2 minutes to present their project to Forum 5i participants!

  • From 9.00 am to 9.30 am : start-up pitch session 1
  • From 11.30 am to 12.00 pm : start-up pitch session 2

Round table session 1 : Inventing tomorrow
9.30 am – 11.30 am
This session will be held in French

The COVID crisis questions us on tomorrow’s world : health, society, geopolitics, technology, economy, environment,…
The aim here is to hear different points of vue on near future wishable evolutions, challenges and initiatives that will impact innovation and industry.

This session will be moderated by Marie-Caroline Abrial, of Télégrenoble.

Inventing tomorrow, with participation of:

  • Marie-Hélène Caillol (LEAP) – Démographie du monde-d’après, conflits de coexistence de trois modèles d’adaptation :continuation de la croissance, stagnation, ou réduction de la population.
  • Karine Samuel (Université Grenoble Alpes) – Les risques dans les chaînes d’approvisionnement, le cas des métaux.
  • Fabrice Mourron (Orange) – Numérisation, cyberdéfense, libertés publiques
  • Grzegorz Ambroziewicz (European Innovation Council – EASME) – Les innovations de rupture, opportunités pour les startups, accélérateurs de la transition.
  • Karen Amram (High level forum) – Le besoin d’un fonctionnement plus intégratif au niveau international et local (exemple du High Level Forum) et la réinvention de l’industrie en support d’une société résiliente.
  • Remi Engelbrecht (GEM – The Shift Project – Germe) – Les nouvelles dynamiques d’innovation nécessaires pour réussir le management des transitions écologiques.
  • Denis Galha Garcia (Time for the planet) – Agir tout de suite et innover pour la transition avec Time for the planet, outil de participation citoyenne pour la transition.

 

Round table session 2 : Awards and majors’ pitching
2.00 pm – 4.30 pm

This session will be held in French

This second round table aims to raise awareness of the support programmes offered by major companies to start-ups in the area, as part of the Local Economic Pact initiated by Grenoble-Alpes Metropole, in the form of a series of presentations and testimonials from supported start-ups.

This session will be moderated by Philippe Rase, Vice-President of Grenoble Angels, Member of the French Tech in the Alps-Grenoble Steering Committee, Founding Member of Digital Grenoble-French Tech in the Alps.

2.00 pm to 2.30 pm : Awards Ceremony : “5i – Jean-Michel Lamure” and “Public’s favourite” awards

2.30 pm to 4.30 pm : Pitching by majors around two main questions : Why does your group participate in the Local Economy Pact ? What specific support do you offer to start-ups?

  • Laurent Duvic (Banque Populaire), with Meteoswift represented by Morgane Barthod (CEO and co-founder)
  • Christophe Leclercq (HPE), with a start-up to be defined

  • Gilles Cerardi (EDF) with Vesta Systems represented by Xavier Brunotte (CEO)

 

International panel of experts: Startups in the Covid era
4.30 pm – 6.00 pm

Join Grenoble and its network of international innovation partners (clusters, incubators & startups) for this one-hour digital conversation about how covid has changed the business context for entrepreneurs and startups. This will be both an interesting conversation and a valuable international networking opportunity.

Country representation includes: Canada (British Columbia), the US (New York State), Great Britain (Swansea), Germany (Essen) and Tunisia (Sfax), as well as local entrepreneurs & innovation experts from Grenoble.
